Han Vodka is a vodka from Korea made from barley, rice and "pure spring water".[1] The barley is four times distilled and then "infused" with rice. It is imported by Progressive Brands in Fullerton, California. The manufacturer is not disclosed in any press release, nor on Han's website. Han Soju was a 48 proof version of the 80-proof Han Vodka.[2] Han Soju appears to have been phased out. An old website at hansoju.com is no longer up, and Google searches for Han Soju lead to the Han Vodka official website which makes no mention of Han Soju but refers to 80 and 48-proof versions of Han Vodka.
Some reviews say that Han has a smooth taste.[3] Others say that it tastes like fortified sake.[4]
